What I resent is answering a question and then somehow getting drawn into some pithy drama being played out between warring factions. They have to realize that their selfishness is going to ruin the site for everyone.

There have been cliques here since I first starting answering in January. They have just changed around. It is so ironic that some of the people who were in cliques when I first got on here are now "out of the cliques" so now they are screaming about how bad cliques are. I am not a fan, but don't be a hypocrite. The thing about cliques is that every dog has their day. When you aren't one of the "cool kids" anymore, that is your karma. Live with it and don't whine about it.

Maybe I haven't been on this forum long enough to voice an opinion but I haven't felt any "cliques" at this point. Most are really friendly people that enjoy this forum like I do.

a target for what? OMG people take answers way too seriously if their sole goal in life is to make others miserable. I don't care if I get deleted. It takes two seconds to create a profile or I can use one of my 9 other backups I have. Really, some people just need to get out of their homes.

Sometimes cliques are a matter of self-preservation. Whomever naively thinks that McCarthyism is dead had best clean their rose-colored glasses. Sadly, guilt-by-association is very much alive and well.

You're right it makes for nothing but trouble and makes them targets as well as there are people who end up getting jealous of certain groups and whatnot. I would like to be firends with everybody but it's difficult to do when there are obviously certain cliques in the equation.

I know they're here. I do not follow one. I answer from a lot of different people and think that's what keeps it fun and interesting.
Reminds me of high school and I was hoping we had all matued a little since then..
