clorox bleach -

i have had a pool in the past for a total of 7 years - i dont care if you pick me for best answer or not - bleach disinfects and works - yes the super shock it works to - but did you ever notice it smells like bleach? its just cheaper and you need to wait about the same amount of time to go in or at least under water - we had an above gorund pool it was only 5 ft deep but it was big around and we would pour two or three bottles in when ever it would turn green and the sides were slimey - and in less than 12 hours it was clear -

Figure out the size of your pool. Then go to the pool store in your town and ask them. They have a variety of chemical products that will clean the pool of unwanted plant life, while still being safe for the kids to swim in.
