A mango seed. I live in S. Florida in an area where the soil is almost always moist and very rich. How long before I will see my first mango?

It takes a LONG time for mango seeds to get started. Then it takes YEARS before you actually get to see a FRUIT!!

My advice: if you really want to do it yourself -- buy a tree!!\

If you just want the fruit, GO to a FARMERS MARKET!!

Good Luck!!

Normally three to five years, depending on the type and how well it is cared for, for a mango tree to produce it's first fruit. It can take up to ten years for a tree to reach full yield.
