my boyfriends truck always shakes a lot when he drives it. mainly on the front right wheel. he's bringing it in the shop today and i was wondering if the alignment would have to do with it always acting like that. he always has to pull over when he drives and i'm worried about his safety. thanks in advance.

If it's shaking that bad then, yes, he probably has a serious problem. Shocks won't normally cause that. Loose lug nuts or worn out suspension components will and can also lead to an accident if they give way.

Sounds like wheel bearings. He needs to have the whole front suspension/steering setup properly checked out. Hope this helps.

worn suspension parts, bad tire, wheel balance, could be a few things, have it checked out before a part lets go and he looses his steering.
