No. I know what they mean and it doesn't wound me. I think it is kind of cheery, in fact.

Yes. It's like they are laughing at their own jokes, which is bad enough when someone does it while they are talking to you. What makes it even worse is that when people use it like tat, the statement they made usually isn't even all that funny.

It may seem old-hat at this point, but at least it's a little window into the mood of the sender. Thank goodness there's not a proliferation of the acronym for "crying on the inside"

Anything is annoying when overused. But using it once in single email, or blog comment, yahoo question or answer, etc is OK.

it doesn't annoy me unless they end almost every sentence with it. in my opinion it just usually lets people know you are joking around, so no, i don't see a problem with it.
