Hmmm I believe it's more of a "cycle" of experience where the grandfather molests the son, the son continues to molest his nephew, the nephew may molest his daughter, etc.

I haven't come across anything that states that there is an "incest" gene. People just think that a person exposed to abuse has a higher chance of repeating the abuse, and this is what leads to generations of abuse within a family over time.

I'm not saying everyone becomes an incest abuser just because they were the victim of incest. A lot of people don't repeat what was done to them, but some do.

I don't think that it is genetic - but that it is passed down throughout the family as a "normal" practice...

One generation does the "deed" - and it is up to them if it goes any further than that. If they felt that is was alright, then they will teach their kids the same thing - but if it was forced upon them (where they did NOT approve), then they will do everything they can to PREVENT it from happening again!!

No I don't believe so, I think if one"s an "***" it doesn't necessarily mean he or she will pass it on. Unless the person does it in front of their children as a way of life. Then their children may think thats the "right" thing. But no I don't think so....
