What is the last thing that really frightened you?

I'm home alone (as usual) :-)) and it sounded *exactly* like someone flushed the toilet.

Even the cats jumped up and looked.

My heart was really pounding.

The mechanism simply needed an adjustment :-))

oh boy weird one here
but my 9 year old son had seen his cousin with a bag of weed then last night my brother (cousins father) came over and he came to my room for some Advil, my son looked under the door and saw me hand him a sandwich baggie, he started crying thinking I had drugs and said he was gonna tell the cops. When in reality all that was in the baggie was Advil, I just didn't have anything else to put it in, but it frightened me because A. I don't want my kid thinking I do drugs
and B because I was afraid he really would say that I know I shouldn't worry but still

i went in the kitchen for a glass of water and all of a sudden i heared some noises everyone was asleep. Atleast i thought. I then realised that it was the ice machine

Earleir today I was knocking on a neighbours door, my 12 year old son came up behind me (I didn't know he was there) and he screamed at me! I nearly wet my knickers! I yelled at him! He felt bad, I felt bad, poor boy was trying to be funny! He wasn't! I did say sorry to him :o)
