If The Kids Adore Dad, Why Does Mom Get Angry About It And Want Dad Eliminated From Their Lives?

after all the kids adore dad and if he leaves they get hurt too dont they ? Is this a symptom of other problems in the marriage ?

There might be a reason beside jealousy that the mother is acting strange. Perhaps she is not happy with her marriage, has someone else in life, needs cash if in case the family is insured (life insurance) which is not explained here as to why she want her man dead. Does she suffer from any psychiatric problem? What about her past history? she appears to isolate herself from loving her man and kids and the kids feel it and leans towards their father for protection, they feel to be safe when their father is around. The mother might be mean toward the kids, not showing any interest or care, and once the kids realize that its only their father that they feel comfortable and welcomed. The Mother's love is dead in this family and something must be done urgently to prevent a tragedy happening.

Yes, your right...there are other problems with the man and woman....It seems that the woman might be threatened that the man is doing good with the kids..or the woman thinks the man won't be around too much longer so why let the man be with the kids...it will only hurt more ....
But the man and woman need to seek counseling so this doesn't happen...they need to stay together.....

Hi Latina,sometimes marriage does not work for one reason or the other, the children are very often between and they also get hurt, you must not hurt them by being selfish, meaning you want all their love for yourself, I’am sure you loved your husband dearly at one time and your children were the result, love is better and sweet if you like be bitter to husband if he was the cause of your split, but be sweet to your children they have done nothing wrong !!!.

Dad adoring the kids and not her is a problem for her that she can't get over. she thinks that not allowing him to see the kids will hurt him because he doesn't want to sniff her a*s every second. what she is really doing is making her own children hate her. they will respect him more because they know he's not the one trying to ruin their lives.

Just because the kids adore Dad doesn't always mean Dad is the best person for them to be around.

Example.....he can be fun, loving, but makes poor choices and possibly doesn't put their best interests up front....he could be involved with drugs, alcohol, etc.

Children aren't always the best judges of character.
