Sometimes it's like a little bell ringing, bringing my attention to the key to resolve something I've been pondering for awhile. Or a voice that unpredictably with just a few "words" helps to change my perspective. Mostly, it's confidence that while I've been through some difficult times, & seen others go through the same, (which is even more painful to me), I've made it through the pass, intact & stronger. That's grounded, isn't it?
But how about the times I'm off the ground & enjoying the heck out of it? Dreaming dreams, swimming with the clouds, flying with the birds? Walking firm, or flying high--peaks & valleys. I want to say--just LIFE.

Edit: I honestly don't think Moon meant by "grounded"rooted or immobilized. I think of it more as a "scaffolding"..our basic secuirty, self. Perhaps I'm wrong.

New ideas. When it is all said and done, new ideas are the only thing that can keep me grounded. Sometimes work is good or bad, relationships are fleeting. Religion can be, in a way, a source of new ideas. Friends are a major priority but they change over time. But I can always count on picking up a new book, seeing a new painting, or otherwise getting new ideas. Obviously some ideas are better that others. So, I guess, new good ideas.

Other people, a wide variety of them. The more points of view I am exposed to, the more circumspect I can be. knowing the extremes helps me find my center but also gives me more points of contact with the ground. This wide gamut of realities and reconciling the differences between them helps me find peace and acceptance within myself. This is how I find my focus, my comfort and my happiness.

Then there are the lower chakras which simply require physically big things like the ocean or any large body of water. Big things have weight and gravity and they put you in a state of awe feeling reverence for their power. A mountain, the planet, the sun, the universe... big things.

My childhood keeps me grounded. I grew up on a farm, so whenever I start thinking I'm really something, I remember all the cow pies I stepped in, and all the humble chores I did as a kid. I wouldn't trade those life lessons for the world.

Mentally:
My sense of humor, even in the direst of situations. It helps me to remain sane in so many aspects of this crazy world.

Emotionally:
The people in my life: believing that I exist among the ones that I sincerely love and also thankful in knowing that I truly belong in all the places that I am now.

Spiritually:
My faith in what I believe is the Truth

…and Physically…?
My absolutely ridiculous apprehension for heights. A major disadvantage for the job that I do, I must say!

My inner connection. There was a time when I looked outside of me for grounding & worth, but as I grew older & more confused I found that only being true to my own inner voice, inner guide was the only way to dignity & peace.

Knowing that tomorrow the sun will still rise. Keeping a clear mind and not reading into things to much.

YO! Moon, My kids. They think they are now the adults and 'ground' me for poor behaviour such as not making enough food for them 14 times a day. Lol

My husband, mostly. I would probably run off and do all sorts of wild things if he were not here with his common sense. I surely have enjoyed traveling this life with him. Grams
P.S. You have a wonderful week, also!

Lifes' experience. Having lived thru so many ups and downs, success' and failures, joys and unhappiness, life and death of those I've loved and still love. From all my experiences, I have come to understand that being "ungrounded" will only adversely affect all of those who care about me and want me to be a part of their lives.
