Court ship in Hull martials nauti-collection of law breakers before a-stern judge who graduated from Keel. Guilty get lashes oar surf time in jail. Innocent get through port-whole bottle of it. (No bail you sea.) Heart strings repaired by tacking. Then tie the knot in wed-lock, if you get my drift. Rum state of affairs.

That's a boat all tiller-nother time. Here I bow out.

Well, if a pirate were involved he'd weigh his anchor then try to ketch his hands on her scruvy deck and look to shiver his timbers. She'd tell him to walk his plank overboard and stow it in Davey Jones Locker. He'd reply, "Yo ho!" She'd grab him by the keel haul-lering, "A vast mate, he tried to get into by doubloons once. Halyard not even half the man he was! Eye patch you're knot even a reel pirate anyway." The pirate (or knot) would get angry and say, "Argggh you calling me a tattoo effeminate for yer tastes?!" To wench she'd barge, "If the sloop fits, shove off, you cutlass brig!"

That question is actually the first one I have seen under the category WORDPLAY that qualifies as wordplay. Almost everything else is just using this topic as a catchall for vocabulary building questions.

Not only was the question spot-on but some of the answers were really perfect too. Thanks.

Erm, I don't think this is worded correctly because I can't make sense of it.

I'm assuming it has something do with "courtship" as in dating....
