i need a list of parts for a good gaming pc.I have a hp and i was wannt up grades for it, i have done nothin to it and my budget is $800.

Install an 8800 Ultra plus a matching power supply and you should be ready to rock n roll. 2x512mb RAM is fine for XP and 2x1Gb for Vista (preferably matched pair).

for $800, I would do a new graphics card (make sure your computer can use it first) and more Ram 2 1 gig sticks should do you well, you could upgrade your processor but you may have to take it in to do that, unless you are pretty handy. YOu could get a faster hard drive like a Raptor Pack, or a barracuda or even 2, then I would get a 2000 dpi gaming mouse and a good mouse pad. if you have anything left spend it on a key board or mic or speakers or something....
