Plan on spending your "Golden" Years?

So sad, you and I are never gonna get to relax, it will be a big toss-up as to who will take care of who....

LOL I'm with Mystical...I don't know, somehow I have the feeling I'll be working rather than retiring...I'd like to have a small place on the lake with a boat etc. for summer months, hopefully by the kids a nice house that they can share and live in till schooling is done (that might be 10 years from now and not quite MY golden years however)...I was thinking they can share that or rent it out in future and make some money of it...you need something working for you!. And if hubby and I are still alive and together (and still want the same things) well maybe a place down south too. I don't know.
I do know it will be ME time however and I don't really know what that is going to translate into for the future. It's a long time away for me to speculate right now.
I'm too broke however to really believe I can do all the things I'd like too...hubby has a retirement income but mine will be peanuts since I stopped working to raise the family. I pretty well used up what little investment money I had going although I do have a small second pension from the 20 years I did work. Left that in there because of the BENEFITS...they take care of you in your golden years...that is more important than CASH really because I can only imagine what health care will amount to in future.

i drive a truck, when i retire i want to get a motorhome and travel to see all the things i can't see while i'm in the truck.
