...with a concentration in psychology? I know I would need to take the teaching classes and get certified, but if I do that, what course would I be able to teach with that degree?

provided you have the right coursework and you take the education classes for certification...

Social Studies certification comes in two flavors; middle grades and high school.

Middle grades is generalist and they teach history, geography, cultures, etc. in classes called "social studies".

High Schools are more specific and you will need a subject area. Some high schools have psychology but that's a hard one to get on full time with. You will want to add a content subject area (about 30 hours undergrad but some states as low as 15 hours) in history or geography in order to have the best job options.

If your psych degree had a lot of math in it -- math is a high demand teaching area in all areas of the country. If it's your thing, adding a math content can be particularly valuable to you. Same deal with the sciences.
