The Neverending Story has been released on DVD in the US and even Israel, Australia and the Netherlands. Does anyone know why it has never had a UK release?

I don't know why mate... There are a few films i want that aren't uk region 2... Gremlins 2 has been brought out as a double with gremlins... There isn't a gremlins 2 on it's own for some reason?
I bought Fright Night the other week but Fright Night 2 isn't available uk region 2.
The Monster Squad, a wicked kids film from the 80's isn't out either.
The Punisher is a cr*p remake of the Dolph Lundgren 80's film which was brilliant but not released in the uk.
I can't understand why there are so many cr*p dvd's out there and a load of good ones have been overlooked.

try ebay. the daily mail gave away a whole series of magic and fantasy dvds including never ending story 1&2 i bought the whole set off some one on ebay.never ending story is produced by Muse entertainment enterprises inc. and The movie factory film gmbh.and may have been released recently

Region 2, right? I have it in Ireland, but I think it was bought in the Netherlands. Generally in NL films are in the original language with Dutch subtitles stuck in. No problem!

I have a copy I brought from Amazon-works ok on my DVD player.

dont know mate but you could try ebay someone on there may have it.also you could copy an american copy and remove the region code in the process and then it would play anywhere in the world
