my virtual memory initial size was at 1920 mb and maximum size was 3840 mb. I increased initial size to 2304 mb and i have 1.5 gigs (1526) of ram. Would it be wise to increase the initial size of the virtual memory further since i have a 200gig and a separate 50 gig hard drive that i am very conservative about.

Virtual memory is very SLOW. With more than 1Gb RAM, your PC should hardly access virtual memory. Unless you have tons of unnecessary startups. Just let Windows manage it automatically.
