Looking back on a failed relationship - what are some things that you learned about yourself?
For me I realized that I had allowed my self respect to be trampled on by my S-T-B-E-W. I will never allow another woman to do that to me again.
This woman turned out to be a very selfish and self centered person. Instead of focusing on trying to work on our marital problems - she sought comfort in the arms of other men.
What a shame .. we could have had a great life together. But it was her choice.
The one I feel bad for in all this is my little 6 1/2 year old son.
His family life got ripped apart .
My focus now is trying to be the best dad I can be and to always be there for him.
Please don't get the impression that I was a saint ..I wasn't .. but I never cheated on her, abused her in anyway and tried to be as a good a husband as I possibly could.
Could I have done better. You bet.
But we live and learn in life.
All the best.

that's a good question i would have to say i learned not to give what you wont get in return such as respect i found i was the giver they were the takers.... then again i was young and dumb .. i also learned to take things easyer and not make such a big deal out of everything like i once did..and that people are who they are just as i am and you cant change them so run like hell if you have a hope to lol :)
