No,but you can seriously undermine the natural relation between focus and direction. Cross your eyes too much and you'll have to consciously focus anytime your field of vision shifts,which normally happens automatically. The condition is not irreversible,but it takes a lot of time to come back from it and in the meantime you can't drive or watch a movie or read comfortably. It has to do with retinal disparity.

no, actually its impossible. parents tell that to their kids so they would quit doing it, but can never, not in a million years make your crosseyed forever. by the way, another fact, even u sit close to the TV, u wont get myopia, your eyes may hurt u, but it will never cause you myopia.
