white gold and diamonds!!!!!! I am not a big fan of gold because of its copper tinted look. white gold with diamonds makes you look elegant and beautiful while gold just gives the signal I am rich look at me! I love diamonds!!!!

Depends on why you are giving it.
Give gold if its a 50th anniversary since this is the Golden anniverserary.
Diamonds are good if its the person's birthstone or a super-special occaison.
Also what does the person you are giving it to wear? Gold and diamonds each augment what a person is wearing in differant ways.Ask yourself how the person will look wearing the item.
But above all else, REMEMBER,it is the love you feel for the person you are giving the gift to that is important. The gift is merely a Symbol of how you FEEL. It is NOT important in and of itself so much but as a reprensentation of the feelings beween the you and who you give it to.
Apologies, if that sounds a little preachy but ask most people and they will admit it is the truth.

how about gold and diamonds but i think I would rather get diamonds because they are pretty and gold makes you look really rich but whats wrong with that.

Neither. I don't like flashy things. But, since diamond is my birthstone, and although I look better with gold because of my skin, I'll say diamond.

Wear gold with brown ... and Diamonds with black and depending on the style you could even wear diamonds casually.
