Your puter is playing your video faster than its downloading the video stream. some sites show a fainter bar on your play bar. Thats the download--when the brighter bar catches up to it your vid stops until the stream downloads something for it to play. sometimes you can pause the play til the faint download bar gets so far ahead that you wont catch up to it them resume playing and it will play smoothly. Thats why if it repeats it runs smooth the second time because the full video is in your cache. Players such as Windows media player allow you to increase your buffer that allows the video to download and get a head start before it starts playing but in sites like u-tube you dont have that option.

it depends. If you have a broadband connection and you are connected to it via a wireless router, then something may be wrong with your wireless connection--beit a hardware malfunction or interference. If, however, you are connected to a wireless network (like Philly's Wi-Fi) the service itself may be the problem. Make sure your hardware and software is updated. If the problem continues, find out your speed. Broadband's minimum speed is usually about 578-768kbps. If your connection is slower than that, that is your problem.

Crystal, I am so sorry this is off topic for this post, but I did not get to answer your one about your cat before it closed. There are places you can get assistance for vet bills and help with chronic conditions to pay for medications. Please try the link below, there are lots of places to ask for here there. IMOM has a special program just for pets with choronic conditions to get sponsorships for their medications.
Again so sorry for the OT post, but I wanted to help your cat!
As for your video problems, it's probably just your connection/download speed is not high enough. Ask your wireless provider if they can increase your download speed, tell them your problem, and let them know you are unsatisfied with their service, they might be able to do something to make it better on their end.

Do You have unneccessary programs in your computer. You may want to get rid of the extra load. Does your computer need to have everything to be re-installed for maximum
speed and smooth playing? You could even possibly try
system restore to a very early time to speed up your
computer in it's loading capacity.

There can also be more possibilities for signal interference with a wireless internet or LAN set up as opposed to a wired one.
