I have been married for nearly 20 years, and think that it makes our relationship even stronger..we married young too, 19 and the wife was 17, two chidren later, still very happy. I dont think a piece of paper makes a marriage fall apart, but not marrying the right person. I did, and love it! maybe one day you will meet someone you want to share the rest of your life with and marriage will feel right then.

No I don't agree, people ruin relationships not a piece of paper. If a relationship is or isn't going to last has nothing to do with the certificate. And remember no marriage no security if something happens to the other person, no health insurance if you for some reason lose your own for any reason.

I don't agree that marriage ruins relationships. Marriage is something that has to be worked on and towards. Not everyone is marriage material. I'm 25 and I've been happily married since I was 23. But then again I've been with the same person since I was 16

After 41 short years I must disagree, yes we have had hiccups and there have been periods when either one the other or both together have thought we would like to be somewhere else. These times need working at which I think you do when married. We have now reached a time where, however we irritate each other at times,we would rather be together than apart.
I was just 18 and he was 21 when we married.

My parents have been married 35 years now. I don't think it ruins the relationship. I think people do.
It depends on each person's individual thoughts on marriage and how they let that, as you put it, little piece of paper affect them.
I believe very much in marriage, but if/when I do marry, I want it to last forever. I don't believe in disposable marriages, as many people today do.

i agree w/u 'cuz b4 ppl get married they date other ppl & break up & get back 2gether or just date other ppl. some ppl dont realized there is a BIG DIFF. BETWEEN MARRIAGE & DATING. ppl need 2 no , cuz if not what happen if they get married, divorce, & want 2 get remarried 2 the same person. OR WHAT 'bout the ppl who have been marriage like 3 or more times. Marriage is when u want 2 b w/some1 u luv 4ever. not 4 3 yrs, & then divorce. sry 4 bing long.

Well, my parents have been married for 26 years and it didn't ruin theirs.
Trust me, though, I can definately not work in your favour, though, to live with someone and not get married. If you're that unsure that it would work out between you 2, then find someone else you do have confidence in.

i was brought up in the olden days,so i believe it is a good idea to get married.i missed my chance because my great love died.but if given another chance with someone i loved i would marry her.if one relationship is better then another depends on the individuals involved.when it comes to your chance i am sure you will make the right decision.
