Why are conservatives so touchy when you compare Emperor Bush to Adolph Hitler?

As a true conservative, I'm not a Bush lover, but I find your comparisons absurd and very childish. It demonstrates that you are young, gullible and have a vast lack of knowledge when it comes to history.

Think what you wish and continue to display your ignorance, I could truly care less about you and your ilk.:)

If you really need to ask, no amount of explaining will ever help you understand.

But, since I am certainly one who gets pissed about this, here's a few reasons. Lets compare Gitmo to Concentration Camps, shall we?

We provide the mercenaries at Gitmo with their religious texts. Did Hitler do this? Don't think so. We also make sure the mercenaries religious dietary needs are met - some of them have even gained weight. If you have ever seen pictures of people in CCs, they were systematically starved. Do you really think that any of the food was Kosher?

We don't kill homosexuals or the disabled. Hitler did. We don't use anyone for medical experiments - the Nazis did. (Although I will admit I think that would be an excellent use for baby rapists.) Our government has not organized any major book burnings, either. And, frankly, Hitler had a lot of charisma - Bush doesn't have Hitler's gift of getting people to blindly follow him.

Please, for the love of God - find a good book about the Holocaust and read it. If you hate Bush, that's fine - you are certainly entitled. But if you are comparing him to Hitler, you're really just showing your own ignorance.

As for Prescott Bush.....why don't you guys get your panties in a twist that Joseph Kennedy was a Nazi-lover, too? Oh, wait - I'm sorry - I forgot...it's DIFFERENT when it's a lefty. Amazing.

When educated people (supposedly) blatantly misrepresent our government with the ease of a drunken schoolyard bully pitted with the soiled anger of a three year old and an imagery of a big-time Hollywood producer wanna-be, the result is not only deceiving and extremely far fetched, but it's incomprehensible to those who paid the price of their loved ones (such as the Jews when Hitler ruled.)

The comparisons aren't even remotely parallel and everyone knows it.
But, to sell a good article people will come up with the most outlandish BS just to get attention because they know unless the story is blown-up 1000 times that of reality, no one will listen.

I'm a liberal moderate and I think it's stupid to do this actually. If you want to talk about bush present factual material about what he has and has not done.

Statement like "bush is hitler" don't do anything to help the situation.

Because there is no comparison, and to say there is spits on each and every person who went through the Holocaust. Is that blunt enough?

People are sensitive when you hit the truth that they must psychologically deny. It's worse when it is subconscious.

Obviously, the comparison rings true for most people.

Some conservatives would rather listen to Lumbaugh's lies so that they can feel better than someone else.

Maybe they don't realize that Bush's grandfather helped FUND hitler. By the way, REAL conservatives don't like bush, because HE IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE.
