You overlook the traditional method of ballpark financing is -- as in many other walks of life -- to Spend Other People's Money. Other than the Giants' new park, none of the stadia opened for baseball business since 1989 have been team-financed (maybe a little, but never a majority percentage). And this is how the owners like it.
Privatize profit, but ask for public assistance in hard times. Damned if I understand why corporations continue to get away with this (and many others) deceitful shell-game.

You mean the Red Sox would pay the Marlins $60mill and then pay Cabrera $60mill? That won't happen, because any player who is not getting their value will eventually choose free agency.
No, the best cash deal the Marlins can make involving Cabrera would simply involve not having to pay to keep him, and the fans would have another reason not to go to games.

not sure bout that, only miguel cabrera is valued enough to build a new stadium, neither hanley or uggla are valued enough cause theyre still starting their careers so any player in the team isnt paid enough except cabrera, and as a marlins fan id no like to see him go, so they better get another way to build it.

To go along with your question as if it were possible, because a stadium at the minimum will cost at least $1 billion, and no major league player is worth that.

most stadiums are done with bonds these days
teams do not pay
sorry.
they do this for tourism and the tax collection revenue
do not think this team will stay there too much longer
