Ok so I know I sound like a baby........but I am having the worlds worst case of morning sickness (maybe not the WORLDS worst, but I feel worse then Ive ever felt in my life.

This is my second child so I know the usual cures for morning sickness including toast, bland foods, ginger, blah blah ...............................

but this pregnancy is so much worse all I can do i cry. I am throwing up everything usually an hour after I eat it.

It is Sunday so I cant call my dr to prescribe anything until tomorrow and at this point i feel like crawling underneith my bed and just wilting away.

I am soooooooooo miserable. Any advice would be helpful.

I know how you feel, Lizzie! I always get soooo sick when I'm pregnant. I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my 4th right now and miserable like you. Sick all day long.

My midwife prescribed me phenergan and it keeps me from throwing up, although it doesn't make the nausea go away so I'm still suffering from that and STILL don't feel like eating ANY kind of food. But at least I am keeping down what I'm forcing down.

If you are throwing up, your doc will surely let you try some medication. Phenergan will help, Zofran is even better (but much more expensive).

In the meantime....for the rest of this evening and tonight....just eat or drink whatever you can - anything. Maybe Gatorate? It has electrolytes.

Please don't cry because emotional upset will just make you sicker. I know it can be overwhelming, Just lie down with a cold drink, take some deep breaths and try to relax, maybe even sleep.

Ask a friend or family member if they can go out and buy you a pack of Dramamine - over the counter (don't get the non-drowsy formula). You can take 1 of those this evening to tide you over until tomorrow.

Take care, hon.

No advice - just lots of empathy. I had horrible morning sickness the WHOLE pregnancy with my first - I even lost a few pounds (but I was overweight to begin with). Nothing worked for me - the usual stuff you listed and I also tried phenegran (sp?). None of it helped.

As weird as this sounds, the only thing that would help sometimes was Chick-fil-a lemonade. And water with **lots** of ice. Nothing else really helped at all and I would get sick as soon as, or shortly after, I ate something.

I still had morning sickness the whole time during my second pregnancy, but it was not as severe as my first.

Best of luck to you!

Sorry I have no advice. But I would love to know. I'm 15 weeks pregnant w/ my first child and your morning sickness is better than mine. I throw up immediately after eating. Sometimes drinking water too. My doctor gave me phenegran but it doesn't work at all, for me anyway.

Try to sleep it off. The feelins sucks I know but there isn't much that can be done. Good Luck.

Go to the hospital and they can give you an injection to stop the vomiting.
