My roommate just moved in with me for 2 weeks only, but he is he is never pick up anythings. When he took out the trash, he threw it all over the yard, and the trash spilled out. Whenever I ask him to keep the place clean, he always said he has to go somewhere. He brings his friend over to hang out even though I told him I didnt want that.

He has not signed the lease yet, so I think I can get him out legally. However I felt bad to tell him to leave after I promised him that he can rent my apartment.

Please give me advise.

If and until he signs a lease he is a guest of yours. He may have a verbal contract with you especially if he has been paying any rent, but you also had one with him, common consideration. Tell him to pack his bags. Go ahead and feel bad about kicking out but feel good for kicking him out.pp

Usually a random roommate would be someone that has had problems with roommates in the past. (that does not include you of course) So that can be a problem. Someone from an association would be better. A church, club or school, or even someone from work. It would even be better if it were someone that is a friend of a friend of yours. I agree it would be preferred if you had a roommate but not if you just pick the name out of the paper or off a bulletin board at the laundromat. I also do not believe anyone can judge a person just by talking with them for a short period of time.

He isn't on the lease. Tell him to do his part or he's out! Legally, he doesn't live there, it's only been two weeks.

Honey, no compromise, otherwise you will be the one suffering.... so, be straight forward and tell him to move
out and that's it....

you have to think of yourself first then the rest...
