I've heard the base motor is supposed to be the 3.9 liter V6 with 0-60 around six seconds and the quarter - high 14's at 100-105mph. Now I've got this motor in my 06 Monte and its got some grunt but not like that. Matter of fact these numbers are better than an SS version with the 5.3. If these numbers are even accurate to the production car what mods can you see happening to make this HP? I can't see the Camaro weighing a whole lot less than the Impala or Monte for that matter especially RWD

Just raise the compression, thats what they will do, but the most focus will be on the corvette 427 engine that is going into the Camaro..... this car will be a monster and probably eat up the Mustang and charger.... we will have to wait and see.... I like the looks of the new Camaro.... I plan on buying one a couple years after they come out.

Maybe it is turbo charged, or even has an optional supercharger on it.
Do a search on it, and look at the specs.
