Would they be stronger and hairier than humans, but smarter than gorillas?

Society would turn them evil because of how people will treat them. They would unite against people and try to kill us all. Then we would lock up those who resisted and use the others as little more than super-soldiers. So yes is the answer to your questions unless they were to attack me.

It would be hard to accept them as if they were humans when they aren't. People who love gorillas and chimpanzees have tried having them live in their homes from infancy, but they don't learn to behave the same way human babies do. It is part of the nature/nurture.

They would likely be stronger and hairier. Might be able to talk, depending on how that part of their anatomy came out. Maybe they would be smarter than people.

It would be interesting to know, though.

I live in Humboldt County, CA. We have bigfoot. I'm quite serious about that. There are more than one of these, obviously, just as the yeti is white haired for the snow across the ocean. Bigfoot seems to be extremely foul smelling, and that would make perfect sense, seeing as he/she lives in the forest without soap or other ways to clean up. The bigfoot hybrids are seen a lot in this County. We laugh about it......but, we all know that he and she exist. They don't find dead bigfoot.........because animals eat the remains. We have bears and very large cats to take care of that. Their sound is unlike any other, and the smell is totally unlike any animal studied by man. Please, take into account, that gorillas were not discovered until about a 100 years ago!

Considering how racism is already an issue, imagine the prejudice against non-human species. Oh, I forgot we're already killing and maiming great apes in the name of research, entertainment and for exotic pets.

They probably have them do all the menial jobs and fight wars and be our slaves.
