i just drove out and seen people standing in the streets with sighns saying that he was innocent people are dieing in the streets of newportnews and everyones worrys about mike fighting and killing dogs. whats youre opinion ?

I think they're just using him for an example because he's a high profile figure. People do that stuff every day in every part of the country without ever getting put in the news and having a huge deal made out of it. If Vick was the average dude, we would have never heard about it, and NOBODY (including PETA and other 'animal rights' groups) would give a damn.

Most people when caught at dog fighting take a plea, especially if there are witnesses ready to testify. Vick took a different path. He said he was innocent to the media, and hired an expensive lawyer. That is just the kind of controversy the media loves.
