I have sold my car on eBay. The buyer has paid the required deposit on-time. They cannot pay the rest of the balance until I charge them the selling price (minus the deposit). How do I charge them the rest of the balance?

Yes, they CAN pay the rest. What form of payment or you using? Unless you are using Paypal, E-Bay has NOTHING to do with actual payment. Even then, Paypal is a separate company owned by E-Bay.

. I've bought 3 cars using ebay and PayPal.
It sounds like these 'buyers' want you to quote them a LOWER price for that car! All the payment info should have been listed on your ebay 'Auction' site.
Just email them back, and send a copy to yourself: "I sold you the car for $3,000 which was YOUR bid (whatever price it was). You have paid me a deposit of $1,000 (whatever). You still owe me the remainder of $2,000. Please pay that BEFORE you pick up the car." 'k?
