I need to find the slope of a graphed line that shows the line crossing at y3 and slanting towards the left side. The arrow tip slopes downward at y-5, upper left side

Totally unclear what you mean by y3, y-1, and "upper left side". The arrow tip has nothing to do with slope.

Just look at the graph and pick any point(x1,y1). Then pick another poin (x2,y2).
The slope of the line will be (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

2 find the slope,u also need the x co-ordinates.Then the slope,m can b calculated using m=(y5-y3)/(x5-x3).
