I'm looking for some good quality oil that I can mix 32:1 with premium gasoline. The motor is a 2-stroke 52cc (basically a chainsaw motor). The motor is only about 3 days old, but I need to buy more oil. I want some oil that will extend the life of my scooter. I don't know if synthetic oil would be a good choice, or if some other kind of oil would be a better choice?

Thank you.

a common 2 cycle oil for chainsaws is a good choice, there are many kinds to choose from, valvoline maake it also , castro oil is a very good brand, if you run it a little thicker ( more oil) the engine will smoke a little more but in the long run it will last longer, but you will have to run a hotter spark plug and they will foul more often, synthetic oil is a good choice too but more costly

As Dodgeman has already stated genuine Stihl 2 cycle chainsaw oil is probably the very best natural based oil you can buy. Both Husquvarna, and Echo premium 2 cycle oil is now fully synthetic and includes fuel stabilizers.

I had an previous Vespa contained in the early 60's that had a 2 cycle engine. Being that i replaced into contained in the provider I had minimum pay so i could use 9250 lube oil from the motor pool, that's difficulty-unfastened 30 wt. motor oil. i could blend one cup of oil to a minimum of one tank of gas. as quickly as I offered the scooter it had over 80,000 miles on it and the only difficulty I ever had replaced into retaining the spark plug sparkling. i could ought to pull the plug approximately each and every a hundred miles and sparkling and regap.
