i have listened to some of those bands. Like Korn, and Pink Floyd? I HATE IT but I dont go around saying I do. I just leave it alone

do you think for a second, that fall out boy or sum41 would stand a CHANCE in Hell of competing onstage with masters such as black flag, the misfits, the cramps, or the dead kennedys? you dont know, because you dont even know who they are. you have my pity.

Who is MCR? Well I'm not good with acronyms. I don't know why people do that. I love everything. I think Fall Out Boy is a bit too pop-ish. But I do not go around saying, 'Wow they have no musical talent whatsoever.' because I know that is not true. They just cater to a different group of people (people that like how they sound), not every single person has to listen to the same thing. That's boring! I like how everyone is different. I say give everything a chance and if you don't like it then don't ever listen to it again, right? I love bands from the late 80's and 90's. I also like new music. Well either way, good luck getting your point across!

Did you just put Pink Floyd and Korn in the same sentence?!?!?!?
For one thing, Korn sucks, for another, Pink Floyd rocks (this shows how little you know about "old guy music") Korn in NOT classic rock, and no classic rocker will ever enjoy them. And let me ask you, which Pink Floyd did you hear?
We don't want to bash, it's just hard to listen to MCR fans go "Gerard Way is the greatest guitarist ever" when it's obvious (to anyone, MCR fans included) that he's not.

I don't know exactly why people do this. It tends to be something more younger people do. Many people seem to want to define themselves by what they do not like. They are massive fans of band XYZ. But they hate band ABC. And this is an important feature of who they are.
The older I get, the more diverse types of music I enjoy. I have some bands, singers, genres that I have always loved and always will. But I really don't HATE any type of music. I may not get into some stuff, but I can't waste the time and energy to bash it or hate it.

It's because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And also because the majority of us live in a country where we can do so.
I dont like the music you listen to because I feel that it is played out and too trendy, I prefer underground punk and metal. I can say that because it's a free country.

Look who's talking. "Old guy music," it's evident that you're just another idiot. It's not exactly bashing, but reminding that the bands some people listen to are uncreative, unoriginal and not talented at all. Today, it's the amount of eyeliner and fashion that counts to most people, not skill. Sad. Like whatever you want, even it's mistakenly labeled as music, nobody is stopping you from listening to them.

FOB and MCR are way too played out. I like indie bands. I'm also interested in Japanese rock such as Beat Crusaders.

we're not bashing the music, but these emo kids who know nothing at all
they only started listening to MCR and FOB when these bands started to go mainstream
these bands have been around for some years now but these 13-16 year old kids have no idea, do they?

Its not bashing...it's educating...calling MCR Rock is like saying U2 is rap it's ridiculous, I never said I didnt like them because I do actually like FOB and MCR but you "yungins" haven't been educated in what the musical genres actually are and I find it quite amusing...that is what my question said not "Dont you think MCR and FOB suck?"...again its all about the education process

because you don't appreciate music as well as others. sum ppl only like the bands cuz they think the singer is "hott". in reality once they find a new band that is "hott" then they'll stop listening to fall out boy and mcr

cuz people are so insecure these days that they have to bash others instead of themselves. And they don't have a life of their own so they bash others lives!! I don't get it either...i don't understand why people take the time to bash people and everything if they hate it!!! UGH it juts bothers me SO bad!!
