I agree I think Obama will beat Hillary in Iowa. I think he will have a strong showing across the country.

We can hope. American needs to go outside the box and recreate our political arena and reinvent our political way of being so aligned with one party or another or the old school candidates. We need to see elected officials tackle current issues rather than another party or parties.
It will do everyone good to see Obama, the average candidate, make a serious impact without all the personal money the others' have except Mc Cain.

A week before Iowa in 2004, John Kerry was 4th, Dean on top, Edwards somewhere back.
Not wise to speculate.

Obama is not ahead in the Iowa polls, where did you get that idea? Him, Clinton and Edwards are neck and neck. It's anyone's guess how it will work itself out at this point. Here's some recent information:
Iowa: Up for grabs
By: Richard Allen Greene

The reason, local experts in Democratic politics say, is that Iowans insist on it—and their votes are still completely up for grabs.
“Everything I hear is that it’s still a wide-open race, particularly for Clinton, Obama and Edwards,” said Ron Parker, the director of communications for the Iowa state Senate Democrats.
“Some campaigns have deluded themselves into thinking they have an edge or momentum,” he said, but warned that too many Iowans have not decided whom to vote for in their caucus for any candidate to take victory for granted.
“This weekend is important, especially to Obama and Edwards,” said political consultant Matt Paul, who has not yet committed to a candidate. “Clinton has done well in the debates so far. One of them needs to make a move.”

Hmmm...I hadn't thought of that, but he is from Iowa, isn't he? Or is it Illinois? I can't remember. No, wait he's from Illinois. I just checked.
I don't know, we still have a long way to go. Ask again in february.

since Obama is from next door Illinois, he'd better beat Hilliary in Iowa and by a fair size margin.
because if he can't, she'll whomp him in New Hampshire and it'll be over.
:-)

I don't think that he is going to beat her anywhere except maybe Illinois, but that is Hilary's home state too.
