I think they landed on the moon. It's not as hard as they make it seem today, they didn't follow some of the safety procedures they follow today. They basically threw them out there in a steel bubble, and gave them enough gas to throw themselves back off the moon. As long as you calculate trajectories properly, you'll make it with ease.
The hard part is ensuring the survival of the crew. But when you are in a cold war between two nations battling over world leadership, you'll take more chances with the crew's survival.

i think it was on the moon i mean in the 60's movie sets were no were that believeible
and i've seen all the reasons why people thing it was fake but those people are retarded because i can easily expliane why those things occured in space.
and i don't get it why did the flag ripple if t was studio the answer i think is correct is that the flag had a wire frame in it so it would stand up because there is no wind on the moon
