it would be cool if i could be able to bookmark certain sections of y!a and have them on my homepage/profile for faster access :) , it would be a couple of clicks faster to get to my fav sections ^.^. xoxoxo

I really miss having the ability to thumb-down trollish questions!
I'd also like to be able to undo/redo thumb ratings, there's been a few times I've clicked wrong and can't fix it, there have also been a few times I've given someone a TU and then they totally change their answer to something I'd have given a TD to

I would change the way things were in terms of the reporting system and the whole add contacts option as well. With the reporting system I would add more moderators perhaps humans to investigate report abuse claims and with the add contacts option I would make it so that a person can't add you as a contact or fan without your permission. You see people can add you and leech onto you right now without you even accepting them as a contact which is bad since they can report you for abuse and harass your contacts without even being accepted as your contact. The way I say it should be done is when a person adds you here should be a notice that says something like we will send a message to the user of whether or not they will accept or deny your request and therefore the people who add others can't be a fan either until the person who they want to connect with accepts the request. And if a person denies the request then you can't be their can either. That would eliminate a lot of the nonsense that's going on now which is what has lead me to not allow others to be able to add me.

You can already do that!!!...
I use bookmarks to bookmark the last page of unbroken voting ties here from well over a year ago... and can bounce to any section of YA I want using bookmarks....
As for changing anything.... there are times when this board needs to be moderated...... Allowing pornography to stand undeleted in a forum where the average age is less than 14.. is NOT accepatble...

I agree with the functionality you want but you can almost do that now. i have several bookmarks to Yahoo sections, both in the US and UK sites, so don't really need to link them to my profile page (which i never visit ). you can always put them into your profile message if you want.
I would like Yahoo to do what they say. i.e. act on abuse reports and act on abuse apeals in an intelliegent manner.
I would also like the abiltiy to set myself a limit each day, i've foudn it impossible to impose this limit on myself because its so easy to sit on here while listening to conf calls and stuff.
I would like the thumbs down back. Or a "troll" thumb so we could distinquish between people who are highlighting thier disagreement and people who just want to highlight a troll.
I also don't like the email system. I know it has to be anonymous because of trolls, adn you can easily exchange real emaisl with people. But there is no archiving of messages you send so sometimes i get a reply from people and have no clue what they are talking about because there is no reference !

Yeah I'd like to delete those losers who pretend to legitimately ask a question but use it as an excuse to point game with a contact and could give a sweet sheet about other answerer's posts.

I would like to be able to undo thumbing and starring. I've sometimes made mistakes when thumbing and given an upper or downer to the wrong person because the page has jumped.

It would be nice to be able to go to My Profile and find all of my answers are sorted by category instead of just being in date-order. It would also be handy there to be able to separate open from resolved.

Although there is a blocking system, it should work in a way where once you block someone, you dont see their posts AT ALL. It would be like they were never there.
