Put this in y = mx + b form.
m = slope
b = y-intercept

9y + 2x + 6 = 14 + 2x
9y = -2x + 2x - 6 + 14
9y = 0x + 8
y = (0/9)x + 8/9
y = 0x + 8/9
y = 8/9 <--Horizontal line on the y-axis at 8/9. No slope.

slope = 0
y-intercept = 8/9

9y + 2x + 6 = 14 + 2x
9y= 8
y = 8/9
slope = 0
y-intercept is 8/9

9y+2x+6=14+2x
9y+2x+6-2x=14+2x-2x.....(0x=0)
9y+6-6=14-6
9y=8
y=8/9
(substitute into slope equation)
y=mx+b (m=slope; b=y-intercept)
8/9=0x+b (m=0; slope=0)
8/9=b (b=8/9; y-intercept= 8/9)

So...Given 9y+2x+6=14+2x
........Slope=0
.........y-intercept=8/9

there is NO slope as the equation ultimately bcumz y=8/9,which is a straight horizontal line.As 4 y-intercept,it will be y=8/9 as stated above.
