Completely agree with you. But then it's always us being blamed for being racists if we don't share their beliefs and their points of view.
At the end we are more tolerant than them I think.

Yeah it was disgusting! Can you imagine if it had been the other way round and the gay people were racist towards the Muslim's! There would be a public outcry! England is just a joke. Do what I have done and get out to the continent. Everyone is equal, laid back and easy going and no-one cares what you are!
And in response to Samurai, It makes me really laugh when people from any culture take the moral high ground and start preaching about what their faith has taught them and what is the correct way to live. If you look at any religion it is full of hypocrisy, corruption and violence and Muslims are no exception by any means. Yet you go on and on about what is right and wrong according to your religion when behind closed doors Muslims are killing innocent people because of they way that they were born, which was no more their fault than it is the fault of a Muslim person to be born a Muslim

Homosexuality is condemned by all three of the major monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) in their revealed and accepted scriptures with the usual punishment for the same being stoning, although hanging has replaced stoning in some Islamic nations.
The teachings as well as the scriptural understanding of both Judaism and Christianity have been corrupted so that the more liberal elements of both now tolerate homosexuality. Some sects of both faiths now allow thier preist and ministers to be homosexual.
Islam has not been so corrupted.
It is a tradition that Muslim women do not shake hands with males who are not their husbands or a very close relative (such as an uncle, father or brother in law or first cousin) out of modesty. It is also a custom that men do not shake hands with women who are not their wife, mother, sister or another close relative for similar reasons.
Muslims do not consume alcohol, nor use drugs.
Muslims are not against other religions however, as a very moral and religious people who take their faith very seriously they do not condone many of the social practices that are common in western culture viewing the same as immoral or ammoral and thereby offensive.
Your reaction is rather extreme, especailly as it is based upon viewing a single television show which may have presented a biased view of Islam either deliberately or inadvertently and yet you are condemning Muslims on that basis.
Perhaps if you took the time to learn more about Islam as well as meet some Muslims your views might become less subjective and more objective.
As salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.

I saw a show once, this gay couple swapped with a hetro couple that hated gays, thankfully the kids were lukewarm with it.At the end of the show the lady was lukewarm with it but the man hated it and ordered the gay man to go to a hotel because he did not want him in his home anymore.Very sad.I think the people of wife swap do it on purpose finding these people. They swapped a racist couple with a mixed race couple, was amazed and thankful that there was no bloodbath.

Hi, yes i watched it as well, what is the problem, she was no way racist, she spoke what she believed, fair enough she did not like the lesbian daughter but hey that's life, we can not all be liked by everyone, at the end of the program she at least accepted her, so that's good progress

I watched that also, and although that woman did not agree with our way of life, she didn't impose her beliefs on the girl, well she did at first but after seeing how it upset her she chose to keep her thoughts to herself, she is entitled to her own opinion but was courteous enough not to mention it again.

you must remember that her faith teaches this as normal thinking
you are allowed to be anti gay, anti drinkers ,anti fat ,anti black ,just not allowed to shout about it in public
everybody hates someone you generally keep it to yourself to avoid problems
you will also find that some people cant abide others who cant be bothered to check their spelling (hint)

Yes, I watched it and I was very impressed with their moral attitudes. How polite and controlled they were and how they rather put to shame the other family.
