do you think that President will do about the Iraq war?
-If he/she pulls all US troops out at once it will be a disaster.
-If she/he keeps all US troops in Iraq it will be a disaster.
-If he/she pulls half of the troops out but keeps half the troops in Iraq it will still be a disaster because the civil war in Iraq will be out of control.
So how will the next US President "fix" Iraq/the Mideast?

I disagree, we just need to face the facts and get real.
The majority of people in Iraq are Shiite, even if we establish democracy they will elect Shiite Leaders. So we are arming and training a Shiite country. The Shiites are fighting Al Quieda but are friendly to Iran because it is also Shiite.
If we call Muqtada al Sadr in and hand him the keys and leave it will be his problem. The Foriegn Fighters will pull out because they are in Iraq to fight us. Sadr can handle what is left of the insurgency.
Of Course, there will be the mandatory, rubbing our faces in it, victory parade in Bagdad with him the Iranians and Hizb Allah leading the march. Perhaps once order is establed we can be friends.

Oh my GODD! THIS is such a great question and I am not kissin' your butt, cause I am going to be DEAD straight honest here:
1] It's already a disaster and it WAS before we even GOT there..
2] Of course, it will CONTINUE to be a disaster, as are all WARS, silly question INDEED;
3] It'll be half of a disaster?? what are you kidding me?
4] Half of sh*t is still a piece of sh*t. But I support the war, because I stand behind my President, not like a blind/deaf sheep, but like an American, my neck's not red, I've got no shotgun under the bed...

It's just about being dignified about what you want... you don't send kids strapped with explosives into situations, and you don't kill innnocent people who show up to work on time on a Monday mornin'
You have GOT TO PLAY FAIR when it comes to money, land and goods. We are past the club to the head stage folks. We all speak one language or another and can BARGAIN for what we can exchange/deal with!!!
So the "sucker punch" that we sustained at the WTC will never be respected, explained away, or forgotten by anyone with half a brain or an ounce of humanity. You do NOT blind sucker punch the innocent, especially in the name of OIL or RELIGION.
I love everyone, everyone. I am open to all people. I do not like sucker punchers, cowards, or folks who eploit kids and use them as bombs. I would never invite such folks into my home for drinks. I would let my dog Guinness sniff their crotches however, he's the best judge...

Sorry for the beginning line but really!! Cuts and runs? He'll be out of office... It won't be a cut and run, but a passing of the torch to the next person who will have to make difficult decisions with information that no one else knows all of except for himself and a few choice advisors.
The next president will do what the present president is doing. He will make decisions. You won't like all of them, you totally won't agree with all of them, and you may scream to impeach whoever is next.
Democrat or Republican, unless you are a blind lemming, you will not totally agree with all the decisions that are made without the President thinking your personal opinion should be listened to and heeded.
Who are you anyway? The all-knowing God of your own world?
I can't believe all these types of questions. Who gave you information that is above and beyond that of the standard citizen? Who decided that you would be all-knowing, and the only right person on the planet?
I'm so sick of this drivel from those who think they just have to know more than the rest of us.

It is only fixable by the native people.
The WWI victors caused this trouble when they arbitrarily drew lines over religious factions. It was sheer insanity.
And now we're there trying to fix it again.
Only Iraqis can "fix" Iraq.
It is a disaster whether we stay or go so we should go.

Insert a remote control detonation device in him and have him accomplish what Bush has been unable to.
