I'm from the South. It's always hot. I wish there was some way to keep a pillow cool at night.

I have plenty of ideas. Are you looking to steel one and get rich quick ? Here is one that I haven't figured out yet, that maybe you can work on. A fuel or some type of energy that cost nothing, is non polluting, and is plentiful enough that the world won't fight over. Something that will run all mechanical devices of any sort. That is one that does not exist yet to my knowledge.

A devise that could scan a certain section of land (maybe 10 feet by 12 feet or so) and determine if there are any living people or people who have been dead less than a year in the ground. It would reveal shallow graves, underground kidnap chambers, lost miners, kids that fell in a well, etc.

I think a batter question when are they gonna make stuff has already been invented public like flying cars theyve been saying there putting on there for like 10 years i mean common people enoughs enough

A portable device that acts in much the same way an online profiler and people finder would....only in real life. ^_^
Pardon my putting this in comic book terms, but basically this would be a portable "Cerebro" type of thing....a device you could use in real life, real time, to look for and find other "people like you". Essentially, the thing would have a profile with information about you, what you're like, what your interests are....maybe it would even synchronize with your brain waves or nerve pulses to get a sense of your moods and temperament....
And it would be designed to let you look for other "people like you" that you could find and talk to. The idea being that if they are pre-screened this way, the odds of your finding friends, lovers, or at least like-minded people will go up.
It could make one's social life so much easier, since you could make fewer obvious mistakes and find people that you'd be more likely to get along with.
Maybe. ^_^ Who knows?

Wireless transmission of electricity throughout the home. It is currently being worked on.
The elimination of CDs and DVDs. They would be replaced by memory chips such as the Ninentendo DS game cartridge. No longer any moving parts.

right in the centre of their back so they cant reach it themselves
but not just for children we could also fit one on Micheal winner, boy bands and robbie williams to name but a few

ohh where do I start?! A replicator unit would be nice(that works using recyled stuff) , and a holo-suite, a site-to-site transporter, a galactic cruiser, personal robots (I want the purple dog-dot!), a light-sabre (SW fans all over the world would have one!) and a flying car.
