Good question. The only answer I can think of is that someone is cashing in on his publicity. People will listen in to see if he makes a radical statement again. After a couple of years, he will be on the way out, as most people will tie of him.

Because he resides in America. We allow former inmates and abusive teachers and destructive Priests and Nuns to continue teaching and administering to the public nd or work. However one of the Rutgers' basketball players is suing Imus. She has tattoos and he he singled her out in his tirade that morning BUT like Rev. Sharpton said we do not know what she is specifically asking.
She, too, has a right to legally pursue him and his employees.
I have no doubt he learned a favorable lesson but we will see if he hires women as well as minorities as he returns.
His contract previously was absurd to allow such carrying on by one American toward another.

One reason could be that when he left he had over 7 Million listeners and that doesn't count the TV viewers.
And he made a lot of people a lot of money that is why he had a $ 40 Million Dollar contract.
And it's always about the bottom line , always.
