I suppose my choice would be "Flif", formerly known as "Jane Furrows". While I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet her in person, there was not an opportunity to engage in any kind of real conversation. Based on her Answers participation, I know her to be well read and very intelligent. I'm guessing that conversation with "Flif" would not be a lot of "fluff".
Considering her current job at Yahoo!, it would be very interesting to discuss the current state of Yahoo! Answers, as well as the direction Answers might take in the future.

There is a lot of people here who do not read the whole question and answer it like they don't have anyone in Yahoo they want to be stranded with...
I would pick a link friend of mine named todvango...
He has been my friend for some time now and he is cool...
He is also very smart...
I am sure we could talk with some interesting conversation while stranded and devise a way to not be stranded any longer...

I think it must be 'Jade Orchid' (Vanessa) with whom I would like to be stranded, since she has already helped us wean away from the busy life of Y!A by hosting YAA! (lol).
I would also like to be lost in wilderness with AuntB or Yarnlady or Barbara L or Stevie Khane, Keny and all those intelligent and thoughtful persons who made life in Y!A bearable (lol).
Thanks for asking this question that took a bit of time to search the soul and reply!

I think it would have to be with a person what calls herself Rove. Not only is she a beauty, but very intriguing in that she seems very opionated and asks a lot of good questions.
My quest would be to see if I can satisfy her enough to make her forget all about politics and stop talking!
If not, oh well, I can always send her adrift on a raft while she's sleeping eh?

Richard,
I would never ever be stranded but if i dream it, let it be with Taylor C. U heard abt her? She is the frankest greenhorn on YA. I'm sure she will sure talk us out of the condition.

My choice would be Timelord1962. He's interesting and can talk on a variety of topics, he's funny and can make me laugh, he's handy, a mister fix-it, so he can help with "stranding" problems, and he has a nice even disposition.
OK, OK, so he's also more to me than just a name, but those are the reasons I would pick him to be stranded with.

i want to be stranded with the great geniuses like da vinci and einstein.. since we are stranded in one place for sure it is the best time to learn a lot of things from them. not only on how i could survive but on how all the people would survive in this very complicated world.

Those with misconceptions, about wise thoughts expressed by others. I would only attempt to harmonize the positive aspects of varied perceptions and also try to make them understand, how to "value differences," in perceptions! Aim would be to bring in constructive synergy for all. But, I would avoid getting stranded!

I would like to be stranded with my husband.
We never get a chance to be by ourselves and I would love to be stranded one day alone just to enjoy each other.
