i think he is eligible next year...if not its the following year....he should get in but i don't think it will be in his first year of eligibility..

Henderson last played in the majors in 2003, so he is eligible for the 2009 ballot (five years minimum wait, plus the incidental turn of the calendar).
Unless he makes a comeback before then, but I think even Rickey has written it off by now.

He should be eligible by 2008. In 2009, he should make it. Henderson should also have his number retired by the A's.
