I myself had a house rabbit for 2 years but then sadly he passed away. The reason they kick in the cage or on the floor is they are in a mood. Rabbits are alot brighter than alot of people give them credit for. If he kicks while you are holding him this means he wants to go down. Rabbits are grumpy beggers sometimes but you've got to love em. lol.
