You sound kind of cranky, but yes, I agree with you.
The entire Internet and Yahoo! Answers should NOT be censored to meet certain people's ideas of what is appropriate for their children, or for someone else's!
Parents should take responsibility for what their children see and do.
I like some of the outrageous, odd, crazy and silly stuff that I see here.
When things get way out of hand or individuals go too far, the entire community reacts against it, or them.
Remember the Kentucky male outrage? We didn't need a patrol for that!
What outrages me might be amusing to someone else. It MIGHT have been posted by some kid!
If parents do not want their kids exposed to sexuality, drugs, or explicit language they had better start by keeping them out of SCHOOL! Does that make any sense?
Vigilante justice is NOT the answer!

Totally agree. I mean, it's not like they haven't heard swearing before, they probably ride the school bus and that's where I learned most of my "bad" words. Besides, the world isn't sugar-coated, they might as well find that out now. I actually got a violation for saying bull---t, I was like, What the h-ll?

i agree. Parents should be looking over their children's shoulder when they are on the internet. I dont believe in a total police state, of course, but we have an age limit for drinking, for driving, for voting, there should be one for talking about certain subjects in chat rooms or going on certain sites. There should be some way to enforce it so the rest of us can be adults while the kids are doing their homework.

Kids should be monitored yes, but we as adults should also watch what we say on line. That is part of being mature on the Internet.

Yes and No. the rules say adult content. we should be allowed to express adult opinions. But if you saw kids playing in the street, you wouldn't just speed through just because they are not suppose to be there. And I have a
feeling that some of the stuff that gets called adult is stuff
most adults don't really want to hear anyway because its
so juvenile.

I do agree. It amazes me how many young people, under 13, admit there age when they have a crisis. I do believe their parents should be monitoring there computer web sites. OK, parents, where are you??

Other people's kids avoid me like the plague. I don't baby them or let them walk on me like most parents do. Physical training or homework is the only way to get their minds right.

I agree. 100%.
while some stuff is inappropriate on here, parents on young teens or children should not leave the Internet to be a baby sitter for their child and should be watching what they are doing.

I thought that was why we had the 13 yr. old age limit and the little crumb snatchers show their age by the silly q's and a's

Classy and intelligent people do not need to use vulgarity in order to make a point in a conversation. Vulgarity is not punctuation its just makes you sound stupid.
