i still say the beatles because they had more hits in 6 years then the rolling stones had in 40 something years . that's saying something !!!

I totally agree with you. The Stones are good but comparing them to the Beatles is like comparing a Toyota with a Rolls.
The Beatles changed a whole music scene, thier music was the begining of something totally new, Like Elvis!

As I remember back when, the Beatles were more popular. They set the pace and the Rolling Stones were there top competitors so to say. I never liked Mick Jagger much, he lacked something. Don't get me wrong the Stones are a great band. However, the Beatles were the Best band.

The Beatles had way more Hit songs and like-able songs then the Rolling Stones every did. I think the Rolling Stones Logo on stuff is what keeps them around.
