I like(D) Oprah but her PICK of a Presidential Candidate is not the same as her picking a book for me...

**she DID score with her pomegranite martini recipe though...

All she had to say was "I'll never eat red meat again" and almost bankrupted the meat industry because of it.
Remember when the Meat Industry took her to court and attempted to sue her because people stopped eating red meat causing them to lose millions of dollars?
If so many people are willing to give up eating red meat simply because on one of her shows she tells them she's not going to eat it then I can only imagine what impact her pick of a Presidential Candidate will have on the masses.
It seems more like a cult following to me than your average normal daily talk show.
Very strange.

Yes it could help, as there are many people who will vote for a person picked by a known figure, rather than looking at what each candidate says about the issues, and making their own choice. We as a country tend to feel that the people who are singers and actors, because they appear on stage before us, must know more than we do.

since when did oprah become the foremost authority of politics in this country.?? and i hope those that do watch her show realize that.
i feel the reason she wants Obama has really nothing to do with politics but "other reasons"
i would hope those that do waste time and watch her show, i hope that they vote with their heads & hearts, and not because some talk show host said so.
What's next.... Jerry Springer backing Romney??

Oprah can look deeply into the camera lens and simply order, "Get out and vote for Obama." And you'd be surprised - or maybe not - at the millions and millions of her followers who will do EXACTLY that.

Well, Oprah should have Obama on her show again, and then he can jump up and down on the couch, screaming "I love this country, I am so in love" and then then give that toothy grin of his.....that ought to do it.

Oprah is not a Political expert. She needs to stay where she is. I don't listen or watch her anymore.
