hiya x lanky man x i dont think they can do anything else but return home x their children need to get some stability back into their lives and that wont happen until they are in familiar surroundings with people they know x i believe that the family thought that the little girl would have been returned to them/found long before now x its such a horrid situation x and for everyone that says that the little girl should never have been left alone - yes you are right x but honestly have you as parents never let your child out of your sight (i dont mean left them alone as in this case - so wrong ) - even whilst youve just been distracted for a moment (remember little jamie bulger) a case this week in leigh england and a couple tried to snatch a child from his pram whilst his mother was pushing him along x takes a couple of seconds and an oppurtunity and there but for the grace of God go I x
i thought i saw a puddy cat x

I think they should return to try and get some normality back in the twins lives.

I think they should co-operate with social services in the UK - at least to allow them to discuss what led them to leave their children alone in the first place - social services are not just an agency who take children away, they may be able to help the McCann's and the twins access support in relation to this But people will want to be sure that they get a clear message that their actions were neglectful and this message has to come from social services so that the McCann's and others realise that leaving your kids alone in this way is not OK, it is risky and bad things can and do happen.

With out wanting to be rude I think it is about time. The extra publisity has probably done more damage than good, as anyone with the child well they would be wanting to get rid ASAP, Not nice I know. Also leaveing the children alone, in the first instance. Lets just hope that we all learn from this, and nothing like it happens again?

Maddie seems to be lost in all this campaigning via team mccann ...they have lost the inspiration reason for this entire ingredient . the mothers and fathers are self centred .. materialististic..ruthless..noticeably opinionated ... boastful and have their priorities all incorrect ... it incredibly is their fault she is lacking and sure they could desire to stay with it daily yet for gods sake team mccann get them to admit they have been at fault and in keeping with threat only possibly human beings would be extra accommodating at assisting you come back back to the united kingdom and face the new child risk-free practices amenities rather of hiding and hoping it is going to pass away.. end hiding in the back of each physique and shouting whilst somebody criticises your strikes end dropping effective time attempting to win over the standard public .. end dropping complicated earned donated money on stupid infantile concepts and face the song the quicker you are trying this the quicker we are able to all discover Maddie .. end dropping time as time is a few thing Maddie does not rather have

i garee with barbie but in saying that i really do not think social services will go near them if they are going to intervien which i think is doubtful given their social standing in the community social services rarely intervien when people are so high up especially in medicine or the police (i no sad but true) they are very reluctant to come on board so i really cannot see social services interviening cause they fit they both work they have an extensive extended family they have a nice big clean tidy house so there for they tick all the right boxes for social services reasoning not to get involved the rest is irrevelent in the eyes of the social workers due to their social standing

sorry to disappoint u

What else could they do. I think with all diatribe that is being slung at them at the moment the best thing to do is to come home and face the music.

I think that it will well and truly hit them when they get home that their wee girl is missing and that they may never see her again. I think that they have been living in never land in Portugal and that they need to get back to their own roots for the sake of their twins and their own sanity.

I do not envy them one little bit but like the lady before said they will have to pray and hope that this wee girl is found safe and well eventually..though I doubt it myself not after all this time.

which ever way it goes it'll be a heart rendering process - leaving ''maddies' case behind in portugal or returning to a cold climate at home where memories of maddie still remain as she lft it - a toy in situ a dirty dress in the linen bin, etc etc.. the whole thing is awful

Honeybee has it. That is all that is left. Keep praying for a safe return until a body is found and then pray again.
I do wish the arrest then brigade would belt up

I just hope they find her alive ! her parents will be worried sick so it's hard to say whether or not it's right for them to return home, they will feel closest to her out there in the Algarve and back home will be full of memories of their little girl.

i read in the paper today that the police are going to release evidance to prove madeleine was not kidnapped and 2 days before she was reported missing that she was left alone and was screaming for her dad from 10.30pm-11.45pm until her parents returned. makes you wonder
