I like the movie-When a Stranger Calls- so are there any other good ones out there that arent incredibly scary?I like scary but too scary freaks me out!

If you liked that one, check out the sequel to the original. I't called "When A Stranger Calls Back". It's kinda hard to find, but so worth it! I watched Disturbia last night and it was awesome.

I may not be the best to say because i like pretty much all movies (except chick flicks.) Uhmm my favorite scary movies are
The Freddy series (Nightmare on 34th street)
The Saw series (Not scary just gory)
The Scream series (not really scary just makes u jump.)
Halloween series (Same kind of scary as the scream series
The Grudge and Grudge 2. (These might not be the best because even though i didnt think they were all that scary my friends thought it was so idk.)

There hasn't been a GOOD scary movie since The Descent.
Pulse was pretty good, too.

Try Silent Hill, based on the best selling horror action game Silent Hill.

Disturbia sounds good for. I was going to recommend the original Exorcist but you don't like that extreme scariness so...

My favorite scary movie is an older one called "The Changeling." It has a good mystery story behind it too, so it's not just blood and gore.

I really like the Ring,
the Descent, Saw 1-3, Wrong Turn (they are on the gory side)
Stay Alive and Cry_wolf are good too.

I don't like the realistic ones. My preference is the old mummy, Dracula, werewolf shows. You knew this wasn't even a remote possibility. Check them out and see what you think.

Wolf Creek. I really liked that one. Also, I like some japanese movies. Ju-On, the japanese version, is really scary.
