they showed good attacking moves for the past 3 games, creating plenty chances.. its the finishing that lets them down..
last season man united showed that they are not a one man team as goals are coming from everywhere.. thats how high the confidence was..
right now they are just lacking that confidence.. once they get into the momentum.. they will be unstoppable just like before!

the solution is to have more strikers to hand....
he has sold smith and rossi and now we need them
solskjaer, saha and rooney are injured
he is looking for a striker all the ones he wanted have been sold already
and he has a team of olds (scholes, giggs, neville) and youngs (ronaldo, rooney, nani, anderson) and a hand full of 24-28 year olds (carrick) which every good team needs
he has done an arsenal and got a team full of skill and pace but no experience ?
im a man utd fan and think alex ferguson is the best manager ever but he has already lost this years title challenge there is two ways to look at it and say do you go 2 seasons at half mast to develop your squad for the future and lose out on trophies or keep going as it is and wait till your fighting uefa cup spots like arsenal was
but even though i think we wont win it this year i also think chelsea will stuggle to win it back
this is the first season i have been watching since 93-94 that i think chelsea arsenal liverpool and man u will struggle to dominate because the rest of the league has got better i.e. man city, newcastle and tottenham

Heck, it's only 3 games. I'm sure their thrashing regime will begin soon, probably from September. Wait and watch.
They're not reliant only on Rooney or Ronaldo! It's just a bad patch they're going through. Losing to City is a big blow (Seeing that United usually wins this derby). But United should have won. Did you see how they were shaking City like a ragdoll? Just too many missed chances. Scholes was excellent. Sven himself admits that City were very lucky.
With this kind of form, United should kill Spurs, who were looking worse than United until very recently. Provided, of course, that United doesn't miss so many chances.
Glory glory Man Utd!

man u is a great team and their teamwork is still developing between the new and old players. rooney an ronaldo are great players and were 2 of the few capable players who coul play upfront, with saha getting injured and such,. this season however, there are many more options such as tevez, hargreaves and nani. they're a great team now, its all about realizing what to do without rooney or ronaldo. i think it would take a few matcehes for them to get accustomed to the new playing styles introduced.

man u have a great team they just dont seem to be performing well this season. all we need is a another consistent striker to go with rooney. hopefully this player will be tevez.

Give them time they'll find their winning form soon. They've only played 3 games so far.
