Isn't it bad enough we have trolls in general, why do we need the supposed TROLL PATROL going and reporting us just cause we won't join...and this is the problem with mob mentality

I am really glad to see so many people are learning about these lil vigilante wannabes. They've caused a great deal of mayhem on this site over the past weeks. So, please forgive me for basically duplicating my earlier answer to Viva's (la resistance ;-)) question, but right now, it's more important to ensure anyone wondering about this group has accurate information regarding them.

Here’s what I know. I’m not sure who all her “deputies” are, but this “Mr.” Troll Patrol Boss is often behind the violations and deletions sabotaging our site. When her junta was only 3 days old, JanieMarie (I’m guessing her last name is Robespierre, LOL) gloated about her power to cite us with her full hive of busy bee drones if we dare even answer ONE question she deems “inappropriate”. You can read her words, here. I find the last half of her entry particularly disturbing.

She claims she only reports actual abuse, but there are several former deputies who dispute that. In fact, if you read her own 360 page blog, you'll see JanieMarie reports ALL answerers, including those who are DISagreeing with what she considers objectionable posts. She believes ANY answer encourages Trolls...so she's targets ALL interaction with them. However, it’s not only “inappropriate” interaction which brings upon her rage. Even declining her "invitation" to become one of *her deputies* can get you on her target list.

What we have here is a santimonious, self-appointed cyber-censor, completely run amok. She and her group are the worst abusers here: they're exploiting YA's automated report system so its process of presumptive guilt deletes ANYTHING or ANYONE offensive to her sensibilities

I have been learning an awful lot about this Troll Patrol, and it stinks!! They should leave everyone alone......we do know how to report trolls ourselves.......thankyou very much!!
And I definately don't see why anyone should get reported for answering a trolls question.....we have the right to state our opinions!! I wouldn't answer them but the people that do, do not deserve to get treated that way! Most of them are disgusted by them and say so!! Troll patrol has no right to report those people!!

Wow. I just read the Troll Patrol Manifesto. And by Gawd, does it reek of horse pucky. I mean, yeah, some people need to be reported, but this seems like a damned Inquisition. It's asinine. Methinks the Troll Patrol is like the Church from the Medieval times. Join us or be declared heretics. (Can't you just see little Mr. Troll Patrol boss in a Pope's hat? And all his minions running about in Inquisitor's robes?)

I for one, am proud to be a Heretic.

I have heard that. I was at first a supporter, until i got a message from one of them to make up a bunch of little Troll patrol accounts with their avatar, i.e. Baby T.

I thought the suggestion to go and make another accounts and clone was hypocritical to their purpose.

There are a lot of corrupted "Troll Patrol" members in that group. They are the ones getting people deleted for seemingly no reason.

I believe that. I received an email from Mr. Troll Patrol after I answered Fancy Freakin Nancy's question and got hit with several unwarranted violations the next day. Coincidence? I think not.

I haven't had the "privilege" of dealing with those trolls. Sure they thumbs down my questions and answers but hopefully they won't start reporting me *knocks on wood* What I don't get is how yahell can suspend people like you who are regulars here and keep people like them? *sigh* They will NEVER learn and apparently neither will we as we keep coming back like a bad case of herpes ;) LOL (stole his line again)
