The only Jehovah's Witnesses I see are female. Sometimes a man will drive them around, but he stays in the car. I've never seen a white Jehovah's Witness in my neighborhood, so two strange ladies dressed in "Sunday Best' would not get a response from me.
Two men in business suits...That would be tough. Usually Mormon missionaries just wear white shirts, dark pants and matching tie. It also helps to recognize them if they have their "Brother this" or "Elder that" on a name tag. Again, wouldn't get an open door from me.
If they look like cops, I'd answer the door. I'd rather find out what's going on than wonder all day what it was about.
If they looked like sleazy car salesmen, I'd hide. Personally, whether they are evangelists or robbers, I wouldn't care. Ain't no way I can tell the difference in outward appearance, so I wouldn't open the door.
If the guys were HOT, I might consider opening the door.
I am a good judge of people based on their body language and appearance of their eyes. I have taken lots of those "Which is the computer programmer and which is the serial killer?" tests and have always gotten 100%. So, my guess is, I'd look them over real good to see if they didn't fit any of the above categories. And, considering curiosity killed the cat, I'd err on the side of caution. Chances are, anyone with that "vacant" look in their eyes like a serial killer wouldn't get an opened door and I'd be hiding out or climbing out a window in the back.
So, 90% chance I wouldn't answer the door I guess. There aren't that many hot guys dressed in suits who are gonna knock on my door. And that leaves the cops. Considering I don't break the law, I'd answer their knock if they looked like cops. Anyone else, though, and I'm either hiding, praying they go away, or sneaking out the back window.

Hahahahaha MsKnowItAllReborn you sound like my best friend. "I aint scurred..."
But yes, I'd be a little freaked out. I'd just look out the window and if they stayed longer than mayebe 3 minutes, it's obviously important. If they leave after 30 seconds, then they're probably going door-to-door and have had that happen a lot, "that" being no one being home and they want to save time by not wasting it standing on a strangers door step.
...I got really into that answer haha xD

Not scarred really but i would feel annoyed. They always pop up like that at the front door to pull u into some business which always turn up as fiascos. So, i would feel irritated, yeah. I probably would hide and pretend as if i wasnt home.
What would u do?
Cheers!

B. JW's have a way about them, a two sentence intro and it's "Quick Draw McGraw" for their books. With the Mormons it's the bicycles that are the giveaway. You know how important you are depending on the M suit colour.

Honestly, unless they were doing something scary to me, IE, brandishing weapons, I wouldn't be scared. I would probably open the door with some caution, but now days I think most people do.

I would:
stare and shut the door, lock it, run out the back door, go over the fence, and run to 7-11 and use the phone to call the police.
:)

The jehovah people wear name tags... I would look for that.
Most likely I would just open the door and see what they wanted... unless they were jehovahs.

I'm guessing theyre just door-to-door salesmen, there is no reason to be scared about that, because in order to do that you need a permit from the government.
